Getting dressed… We all do it. Every day, and sometimes even twice a day! Choosing an outfit is a fact of life that every person invites into his or her life each day. And while some people dread the task of picking out an ensemble, there are also some of us who welcome the challenge of choosing a look that accurately depicts our personal style and is appropriate for the occasion.
For those of us who actually like getting dressed in the morning, we’re constantly looking for new ways to spice up our wardrobes and keep our style fresh. Even though it would be wonderful to be able to constantly buy new clothes, sometimes our bank accounts just don’t agree.
Feet size sometimes receives the same discrimination that clothing size does. The “average” shoe size for the “average” woman is said to be 8 – 8 1/2. However, I have more friends (tall and short), that don’t fit into this average. I feel like I know more people that wear either much smaller sizes or larger sizes, myself included. Since my feet are on the larger side this post is dedicated to my fellow 10+ footers.
“Plus Style” is a new series that will be featured on the Dose of Vitamin F blog. These posts will focus on style advice or tips for the plus size fashionista. Feel free to leave comments or email firstname.lastname@example.org with any suggestions for what we should write about or what you would like to see more of under this category.
For the first post in the Plus Style series, my client Theresa asked me to show her a few examples of how she could wear the popular trend – the kimono.
