Holiday Gift List

Hi everyone and happy holidays! I can’t believe that it’s already that time of year again when Starbucks has their holiday drinks (and dare I mention cups?) out, snow is starting to fall, and Christmas is coming right around the corner. So if you are anything like me you are all about the giving this season (even though receiving isn’t half bad either) and are trying to figure out the perfect gift for that special someone as well as your friends and family! Having trouble? No fear! Because I’ve been doing some research and have compiled a holiday “gift list” of 10 unique items suitable for guys and gals! Let’s get to it shall we?
  1. Burt’s Bees Hand Repair Kit
    • With cold weather lurking around the corner and winter activities such as ice skating, snowman building, and snowball fights ensuing, you’re going to want to keep your hands from getting chapped and dry right? That’s why the Burt’s Bees Hand Repair Kit is a perfect gift for the holiday season! And as the Burt’s website states: “With Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream to nourish, Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme and Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream to moisturize, this kit has everything you need for naturally beautiful hands.” Now I think that’s a gift anyone would love!

Do you know someone who’s hands could use some extra love? If you do, you can find it here.

  1. Hickory Farm’s “Winter Wonderland” Wine Basket
    • To me, this gift idea is a no brainer! This Hickory Farm’s gift basket features two bottles of wine, one chardonnay and one pinot noir, a delectable assortment of cheeses, biscuits, and meats. The gift of a cozy night in is one of the best gifts I think anyone can receive! (And I mean, come on there’s wine!)
Interested in buying this for you and your sweetheart this holiday? Yes! Great, you can get it here!

  1. Amazing Clubs “Variety of the Month” Club
    • Basically this is the gift that you buy the person you always get stumped buying for! All you need to do is buy either a 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month subscription, and each month your recipient can get an assortment of your (or his or her) choosing. Amazing Clubs has so many different things to choose from. Literally from bacon to teddy bears!
Have someone you’re stumped on what to buy them? Head over to Amazing Clubs and pick out a variety pack!

  1. Insten Dual Power Bank
    • Nowadays I think it’s safe to say most of us would have a very hard time living without our hand held devices. I know we have all been in that situation where we are out and about and suddenly we notice that our phone is only on 20 percent, which leaves us frantically looking for an outlet to charge it. Well with this nifty little device, this should no longer be the case! This portable power bank is light weight and easy to take with you anywhere, meaning you always have a power source to charge your phone! Another thing I should mention is this power bank is unique because it has dual USB ports, meaning you can charge two devices at once! Now if you ask me, that’s definitely a gift that keeps on giving!
Do you know someone who is always on the move? Do them a favor and get them this for their ventures! You can find the Insten Dual Power Bank here. (Hey mum, still need a gift idea for me?!)

  1. No Sew Blanket
    • This gift is honestly perfect for every occasion! However, it is one of my favorite holiday gifts because they are inexpensive, easy enough to make, and everyone loves them!
If you don’t know what a no sew blanket is check out the directions on how to make them here, and warm a loved one up this season!

  1. Home Spa Kit Gift Basket
    • Okay so this one maybe geared more towards the ladies reading this, but obviously a home spa treatment is a great gift because it’s bringing the spa to the comfort of your own home! And who doesn’t love that? This awesome spa set from Gourmet Gift Baskets includes mandarin orange-scented bath bars and shower gels by San Francisco Soap Company, with several products to cleanse your body, including a Bath Pouf, a Loofah Disc, a Wooden Foot Brush and more!
Know someone who doesn’t have time but would love to go to the spa? Then this is the gift for them! You can get this lovely basket or choose from more at Gourmet Gift Baskets!

  1. Gift Card Wreath
Another classic and crafty gift! The reason why I love to make gift card wreaths is much like the reason why I love the idea of the “Variety of the Month” Club. Gift card wreaths can literally be made for anyone and are very easy to make! All you need to do is pick out a pretty wreath, then however many gift cards you would like to put on it, then lastly fasten the gift card holders in a festive arrangement to the wreath with a hot glue gun and there you have it! A Gift card wreath.

  1. Amika Spoil My Hair Kit
    • Because everybody needs a little spoiling at the holidays, the Amika Spoil My Hair Kit is perfect for any hair type (especially colored hair because Amika is sulfate free which helps keep your color longer!) and smells absolutely amazing due to the ingredient of sea buckthorn berry! What’s in the box? The Amika Spoil My Hair Kit includes Balancing Shampoo 3.38oz, Nourishing Mask 2.03oz, Amika Oil Treatment 1.01oz, Amika Leave-In Cream 3.38oz.
Know a beauty queen who loves their locks? They would adore this product and you can get it here!

  1. Movie Night Gift Basket
    • This is a simple gift you can assemble yourself or purchase online. To assemble it yourself all you need is a movie themed container (think an extra-large movie theater popcorn container), some goodies such as popcorn, red vines, Mike N’ Ike’s, M&Ms, and snowcaps, a couple Redbox gift cards, and a Fandango one in case your recipient want’s a night out at the movies!
Or if you don’t have time to make it, I found a nifty premade one here! Though you would have to include the gift cards yourself.

  1. Fluffy Bath Robe
    • This is also a gift that just keeps on giving! Because who doesn’t like to get out of the shower and snuggle up in a robe?
Want to treat yourself to a nice fuzzy robe this season? I found some really nice ones, here.

When I am not doing photo shoots, writing, blogging, or working as a full time product photographer and photo retoucher at Dick's Sporting Goods, the rest of my life consists of reading, planning photo shoots, and constantly jotting things down, because you can never have too many ideas right? And of course I can't forget to mention my love of Starbucks (Venti Americano on ice please!) simply because, with the rapid pace my life moves at it is a requirement to be caffeinated.
